Our Approach

Evidence-based ABA, made meaningful.

Pathbold brings individualized goals into art, music, sports, movement, play and everyday experiences—helping children practice useful skills in ways that feel engaging and relevant.

Clinical foundation

The activity supports the plan—not the other way around.

Every Pathbold program begins with individualized needs and meaningful goals. Interests can then be used as natural contexts for teaching, practice and reinforcement.

A painting activity might create opportunities for requesting, making choices, following a sequence or tolerating a change. A music activity might support turn-taking, imitation or shared attention. A sports activity might support teamwork, flexibility or responding to group cues.

Clinical decisions remain grounded in assessment, data and ongoing supervision. The goal is not simply to keep a child busy; it is to create experiences where important skills can develop and generalize.

Family partnership

Care becomes more useful when it fits everyday life.

Families help the clinical team understand routines, priorities, cultural context and the moments where support would make the greatest difference.

Parent and caregiver training turns clinical recommendations into practical strategies that can be used consistently and compassionately.

View all questions
Is ABA through art the same as art therapy?+

No. Pathbold may use art activities within an ABA program when they support individualized goals. It is not a separate art therapy service.

Is ABA through music the same as music therapy?+

No. Music and rhythm may be incorporated as motivating activities within ABA sessions. Pathbold does not represent this as music therapy.

How do you choose activities?+

Activities are selected around the child’s interests, care plan, learning goals and the clinical judgment of the supervising team.

What if my child’s interests change?+

Programs are individualized and can evolve. The team can adjust materials, activities and teaching opportunities as interests and goals change.
